Here is a list of students who are currently working with me for their doctoral degree

Past students

2009

1. Yasir Iqbal (Master's thesis): He studied the spectrum of the (scalar) Laplacian on five-dimensional Sasaki-Einstein manifolds such as , and that arise in the context of the AdS-CFT correspondence. He will be joining a group in Europe and will be working towards his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics there.
2. Aditya Arvind (Bachelor's thesis): He studied models of quantum dissipation such as the Caldeira-Leggett model. He has recently joined the U. of Texas at Austin as a graduate student.

2007

1. Kallingalthodi Madhu submitted his Doctoral thesis titled A perturbative study of the Leigh-Strassler deformations of N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory to IIT Madras during July-August 2007 and is currently a post-doc at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai.
2. Aswin K. Balasubramanian submitted his Bachelor's thesis during May 2007 and is currently a physics graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. His thesis work lead to my first ever publication with an undergraduate student — Class. Quantum Grav. 24 (2007) 6393-6415 (also arXiv:0707.4306 [hep-th]).
3. Sidharth Kshatriya submitted his Master's thesis during May 2007.
