- Scholars without Borders is an initiative by a group of Indian academics(Delhi based, I think) to make books written by Indian authors accessible to people all over the world. You can buy books through their website. They have a blog where they review books among other things. They have a review of my colleague, Prof. V. Balakrishnan's book on Nonequilibrium Statistical Mechanics published by ANE Books. It costs Rs. 595/- in India and CRC Press sells it for US$100 (as listed on Amazon)!
